Strengthening Civic Spaces
in Kasoa, Ghana
and beyond.

We hope to one day touch lives around the globe and we believe that with your help we can get there, but for now our focus is on the people of Kasoa in Ghana’s Central Region. Through fundraising, resource collection and distribution, education and our youth mentorship program we are committed to empowering children and low-income families across our global community.

We believe that with your help we can build and strengthen communities

We are on a Mission

Though Ghana has made significant progress in providing access to education and raised education standards across the country, there is still room for improvement. Shortages of schoolbooks and learning materials, a lack of sufficient training provided to teachers and faculty, overcrowded classrooms and inadequate drinking water and sanitation facilities make for difficult learning conditions.

According to UNICEF close to 623,500 children of primary school age are not enrolled in primary school. One out of four children from ages four to five are not in pre-school and 20 percent of children with physical disabilities are not attending school, (2010 national census).

The Flowerpot Community

Putting smiles on the faces of anyone he meets is his passion.
Either by being a shoulder to lean on, or by making you laugh your ribs out.
He says, my son be good to every creature, and you will never lack.
I could never have enough of him.
He is a saver. For he saved my community with charity and self-sacrifice.
Everyone called him fadah, but I call him godsent.

Kofi

Everyone you meet is a part of your journey, but not all of them are meant to stay in your life. Some people are just passing through to bring you gifts; either they’re blessings or lessons.

We Don’t meet people by accident. they are meant to cross our path for a reason

He gave me everything and pushed me to become the young man I am today.
My family and I are grateful.
Father, forever lives on in our hearts.

Yaya

Don’t give any man on this earth the chance to mistreat or disrespect you. Find your worth as a lady and a man who is worth you will find you and treat you right ” those were Father’s words to the girls one Saturday morning under the nim tree, washing. I remember them as it was like yesterday.

Why would this man treat other people’s children as his own; Education, food, clothes, the beach (smiling). To me he was a father, a teacher and a guardian of course. So selfless even towards strangers. I’m yet to see another like Him.
